Why do we support Aim for Seva student home projects? Reach Out Yoga, supports children. Regardless of who the children are, our goal is to develop our programs so that we can best serve the children. This has been the model of Aim for Seva’s work and we will continue to keep the same values as we contribute as a yoga community. During a visit to a government operated school in the city of Coimbatore, we were able to see the difference between a dedicated grassroots community and an out of touch government. Healthy Hair   Our friend and distant family member, Nancy Vallerio has an idea. After working with many different populations in yoga she wanted to know how she could support the efforts of Reach Out Yoga. After exchanging stories of the girls, one incident stood out and sparked an idea. Hair Ties! Our young girls are blessed with long thick hair. It is a daily event that they line up for a squirt of coconut juice to help the growth and condition of their hair that is subject to the hot sun, dirt roads and hard water.
